Here at Halcyon Care Homes the health, safety and well-being of our residents, visitors and team members are at the heart of what we do and is of paramount importance to us.
Halcyon Care Homes priority continues to be the health, safety and wellbeing of all residents, staff, and visitors. Please be reassured that all actions taken will reflect the current and active guidance provided for us by the UK Government and Public Health (England).
When new residents are moving into our homes, we have clear protocols in place. We ensure any new residents coming into our homes, whether from the local community or hospital, have been tested in advance and are negative for Covid-19.
We understand that visiting is an integral part of each one of our homes.
Visits are supported for all types of visitors. All visits to our homes will continue to be booked in advance to allow us to manage the number of people attending at any one time.
No testing is required but we ask that you wash your hands-on arrival and wear a facemask provided by the home. The face mask should be worn at all times, except for eating and drinking. All visitors must not enter a home if feeling unwell.
Visitors are welcome to visit either in a bedroom or private room as long as a face mask is worn when not eating or drinking.
Residents are welcome to leave each home without the need for isolation or testing on return.
During an outbreak that is determined by Public Health (England), one visitor will be permitted to visit, and this person can be interchangeable. Whilst it is no longer a requirement for visitors to test for standard visiting, any relatives or friends who are providing personal care, will be required to test in line with our team members.
